I Love Tuttorosso, I learned of them from Gina and have used them over a year now, I use them at least 3 times a year. We love the quick marinara sauce, we make it in batches to have on hand! Thanks Gina for all the love you put into your recipes for all of us to enjoy!
I always make my own spaghetti sauce from scratch using crushed can tomatoes. I use it more though in homemade soups. The variation for usages in soups is endless. Love Love crushed tomatoes. I big staple in my house. Couldnt live without it.
My mom's spaghetti sauce recipe, and her famous salsa (with plain crushed tomatoes, of course). Canned tomatoes are so much more consistent and tastier than out-of-season tomatoes in the produce aisle!

Absolutely love adding crushed tomatoes to all of my vegetable soups. It adds heartiness and depth of flavor that change thin soup to hearty, rich, comfort food.
That is one of my favorite sauces! However, I always forget to pick it up at the grocery store... I get home and discover I should have bought it to make a recipe. Womp.

I recently discovered your blog and have found many very useful tidbits therein. Since I'm going to the grocery in a little while, I am adding your recommended Tuttorosso crushed tomatoes to my list. I love tomatoes any way they can be eaten--cooked or raw, but I particularly love to eat them in a fresh pot of homemade vegetable beef soup. Yum!
I would make chili!
I use crushed tomatoes to build up a rich and decadent bolognese sauce that I use in my Nonna's lasagna recipe, which I have lightened up by using an olive oil bechamel instead of with butter, and by skipping the heavy cheese and swapping out veal or beef with ground turkey sausage! So much flavor, with surprisingly less fat! With leftover bolognese sauce, you can get a few more dishes out of it later by freezing!

I use Tuttarosa for every Italian dish that I make. I am known for my eggplant parmesan in my BIG Italian family. I have tried it with other tomatoes and it just does not come the same. When Tuttarosa is baked in the oven, it's especially savory! The darker the tomatoes turn, the more delicious the dish becomes! I have been buying Tuttarosa for many years. It really does make a difference!
