My favorite guilty dish is pizza. As for the calories or points, I couldn't tell you. I know it's WAY more than I should.

my favorite guilty dishes are ice cream and pizza...both of which I do not know the health damage they cause. I try to make my own pizza and get skinny cow ice cream and while sometimes they do the trick, it doesn't always replace the real deal ;)

I also followed Rocco on twitter. :)

For me it's macaroni and cheese! Not sure how many points it costs me because I've honestly been afraid to check! Is that bad?

Pizza for me, but I've perfected a 4 pt per slice shrimp pizza that is amazing! We eat it every Friday night.

My guilty pleasure is anything my gram makes! LOL Especially her pies, and I am sure you could make them healthier but they wouldn't be the same! I don't even want to know the calories!

Terrie Mathison said...

Looking forward to checking out this cookbook.

For my guilty pleasure it would be a slice of Cheesecake Factory cheesecake, any flavor, but preferably the white chocolate one! Calories about 800- 1,000. But oh so good!

ALittleLessMe said...

My pumpkin cheesecake with gingersnap crust. No idea on the points because I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much! I make it once a year and assume my slice takes up all my weekly points to be safe. Mrskroberts@gmail.com

my favorite guilty pleasure currently is the McRib, 12 points. Because they're are only available for a limited time, I have to work one into my plan. Then I am satisfied until next time.

Jen said...

My current favorite guilty pleasure would have to be Haagen-Daz Caramel Cone ice cream, which eats up 8 points for a very teeny tiny portion (some days that small portion just doesn't cut it though).

Meghan said...

at the moment, it would be au gratin potatoes, because I am craving them! I have no clue how many calories it would cost me, but I am sure it is way too many, which is why I haven't eaten them in a long time.

thesourie said...

My favorite indulgent food are potato latkes, they are probably even my favorite part of the winter. When my mom makes them from scratch, deep fried of course, they are just to die for. I have no idea how many points they are worth because I'm too scared to even check!

Denise said...

Oh goodness, I have so many guilty pleasures, a glass of wine being one of them, which I know has 2 points per glass... a yummy Indian meal would be another but I wouldn't even want to guess at how many calories my favorite Chicken Tikka Marsala has, or the naan bread, or the rice, or onion baji!!! I'd love a chance to win Rocco's book :)

My faux sausage pizza - 6 pts. One piece of Arnold's Artisan flat bread, toasted in a dry skillet (both sides) 2pts.

Sautee onions (.5pts), red and yellow peppers with Pam (0 pts).

Then add the star of the show, al fresco brand sweet italian chicken sausage (microwave 30 seconds to fully cook, then slice thin like pepperoni - 3pts per link) add to skillet.

Add small can Hunts tomato sauce (0 pts). Warm through.

Scoop with a slotted spoon to leave a lot of sauce in the pan so it doesn't get too soggy.

Add 1 oz fat free shredded mozzerella (1pt).

This 6pt "pizza" is large, totally satisfying and flavorful. Other 0 pt veggies can all be sauteed. I love it!

Cherry Garcia Ice Cream - 240 calories/13 grams of fat (and 9 grams of it is saturated) per 1/2 cup = 5.88 points. Not that terrible, except that I can't just eat 1/2 cup - love it waaay too much...so I stay away from it completely. Love Roccos cooking and his new cookbook sounds great!

When I was a child, we often ate at a restaurant called, The Bonfire. They had a 10-layer chocolate cake. I always wanted it for my dinner. Finally, one night, my mom gave in and let me have a slice for dinner. It was one of the best memories of my childhood. As i ate it, I felt loved, comforted, and too happy for words all while my grandfather, grandmother, mother, and brother watched me. Priceless. Calories? I'm not sure how many calories were in that cake, but more than I want to know. I think a regular piece of chocolate cake has about 300 calories.
