Q - Your recipes give you exactly how many servings a recipe is and what the serving size is. Unfortunately not all of the websites out there are as WW friendly. Can you recommend a way to figure out the serving size without either making the recipe and dividing it out into how many servings there are or by just trying to eyeball?
A - One way I measure serving sizes is to use measuring cups to serve the food to see how many servings it comes out to.
Another way is to measure the whole recipe by cups or liquid ounces, then divide the total by servings.
You can also weigh the whole recipe by subtracting the bowl it's in, then divide the weight by servings. So, if a recipe is four servings, cook it, and weigh the whole thing. If they weight is 20 oz, then you''ll know a serving size is 5 oz.
