Weight Watchers wants us to have "healthy oils." If you cook with them, do you count them in your daily points? They are rather point-heavy for a small quantity, especially for someone getting 21 points a day!
Yes, you should count all the oil you cook with in your daily point allowance. Although oil is high in points, healthy oils with fatty acids are essential to your diet and provide vitamin E. Studies show they can lower your risk of stroke, heart disease and heart attack. So it's important to make sure the oils you consume each day are the healthy oils. I use small amounts of healthy oils in cooking, in salad dressing and I also eat a lot of food rich in healthy oils such as tuna, salmon, nuts and avocados.
